Itinerary

A mild current means you can swim in the fissure without much effort, but a PADI Dive Master or a PADI Instructor will accompany you regardless. Silfra offers open water diving, caving and deep diving; the depth is about 40 metres in open water and 60 meters inside a cave.

Weather does not affect diving conditions in Silfra, but it’s even more beautiful when it’s sunny. It is very easy to dive in this area, because the many different routes means we can find one suitable for your experience as a diver.

We recommend that you wear warm undergarments beneath the diving suit and bring extra clothing. Diving experience and familiarity with all the equipment involved is a must.
