East Fjords of Iceland is a very picturesque and calm part of Iceland with dramatic, yet scenic narrow fjords and small fishing villages. The mountains of the East fjords were shaped by Ice Age glaciers and provide you with magnificent views. Besides the amazing nature, there are many places of interest, museums as well as hiking trails and boat tours available at East Fjords of Iceland. The largest of towns located in East fjords is Eskifj÷r­ur with around 1040 inhabitants.
