Hallormsstaaskˇgur Forrest (What To See - East)

At the southern end of Lake Lagarfljˇt lays Hallormsstaarskˇgur, Iceland┤s largest forest with over 70 species of trees. In the forest there are many excellent walking paths and you can even go to one of the creeks by Lake Lagarfljˇt where the forest branches act as windshields making it an ideal place for a picnic. Hallormsstaur is a great place for families to spend a day.
