Lake Lagarfljˇt (What To See - East)

Lake Lagarfljˇt is a mysterious lake in Eastern Iceland that is 25 kilometres long and only two kilometres wide. The lake is said to be a home to the Loch Ness of Iceland, Lagarfljˇtsormurinn or the "lake worm". It is an enormous creature only seen on rare occasions, so make sure you have your eyes open and you camera ready if it decides to reveal itself. The lake is up to 130 meters deep, so there are plenty of places for the worm to hide in underneath the surface.
